About this project

This is the second website Webhance Digital has designed, developed and maintained for APSB in a working relationship that has spanned over ten years. The old site was built on Joomla in 2012 and was becoming unstable due to its age.

Our brief was to refresh the site whilst maintaining a large amount of content and showcasing it to best effect. The decision was made to redesign on the WordPress platform, enabling APSB team members to manage content themselves into the future.

The site itself is mainly informational and a well utilised resource for APCB members. It provides access to APSB’s member database and also features a number of online forms governing membership, pony eligibility and more.

Visually dynamic, the site features a number of animation effects to showcase key pieces of information as clear call to actions. The size of the site required a mega menu structure that functions well on all screen sizes. Overall, the site delivers on all objectives and requirements whilst looking great on all devices and meeting performance and speed targets.
