Australian Medicinal Herbs is a farmer based in the Northern Rivers region of NSW. The team crafts unique teas and tinctures from the organic herbs grown on their farm or sustainably sourced in Australia.
About this project
We’ve worked with Australian Medicinal Herbs over a number of years performing app configuration and creating unique product/page templates for their Shopify store.
Our brief for this project was to elevate layout and improve responsiveness, particularly on mobile.
We achieved this by implementing Shopify’s Dawn theme and fully configuring it to make use of the many functionality improvements offered. We spent time creating dynamic layouts to ensure branding was on point and Australian Medicinal Herb’s unique offering showcased to full effect. We also optimised the site for conversion using a number of key elements as follows:
- a highly visual full-width layout to showcase Australian Medicinal Herbs products to best effect.
- dynamic product pages optimised for conversion featuring large high impact imagery, sense of urgency with inventory counter, trust indicators with secure payment options highlighted, social proof with product-specific reviews displayed, accordion layout outlining product benefits, multiple ‘add to cart’ sections, ‘how to’ elements and product cross sell feature.
- a compelling homepage that welcomes the customer, offers trust signals with customer reviews and badges, and effectively leads the customer through the site.
- dynamic full-width collection pages featuring cross sell element.
- clear and targeted navigation that enables customers to review by collection with minimal click rate to check out.
- Sliding promo bar highlighting free shipping message and showcasing a featured product.
- responsive layout so the site renders well on all screen sizes (phone, tablet, desktop)
