About this project
The Joinery Man contacted us to improve his web presence. Shane had a perfectly functional Facebook page where he was able to showcase his work, but he wanted to take it to the next level. Our brief was to create a short, sharp, visually dynamic website for The Joinery Man that allowed him to demonstrate his workmanship and expertise to prospective clients who may not necessarily use social media.
We created The Joinery Man website on the WordPress content management system, which allows 100% scalability plus the ability for Shane to login and manage content himself.
The most important element of the site is undoubtedly the gallery. Joinery is a visual trade and it is essential for prospective clients to experience the style and workmanship of Shane’s completed projects. We created a ‘filterable’ gallery which allows clients to filter project images based on the type of work they are interested in hiring Shane to complete, i.e. kitchen, laundry, bookcases and so on. At all junctures on the site a strong ‘call to action’ element is in place encouraging clients to get in touch with Shane and request a quote.
As with all Webhance designed websites, the site is 100% responsive. This means the site reconfigures its layout to render well on all devices from large desktop screens to tablet and mobile phones.
We continue to be engaged by The Joinery Man to provide website maintenance and hosting services.
